“Why use an Aleppo soap-based detergent?”

• Aleppo soap is a natural soap, the ancestor of hard soap. Used since Antiquity for body care and for washing linen, it combines the beneficial effects of olive & bay laurel oils - It is the best natural detergent to be found!

Recommended for all types of linen, Najel liquid Aleppo liquid detergent may be used for machine / hand washing.

Useful tip: Use an economical, ecological product instead of a fabric conditioner. Add a small glass of white vinegar to your machine. It softens your wash and is odourless. White vinegar also helps prevent the build-up of limescale in your washing machine. However, if you want to add more scent to your clothes and linen, add a few drops of an essential oil with the white vinegar.

To eliminate difficult stains, first rub your linen with stain-removing Aleppo soap, leave for ten minutes then put it in your washing machine on your usual programme.

Eco-friendly ideas:

- Sort your linen according to how dirty it is then add the appropriate measure of washing product.
- Don’t put in too much product, read the recommendations carefully.
- Find out how hard the water is.
- Use less product when there is less linen, or if it isn’t very dirty.
- Avoid pre-washing and do full washes at low temperature: a 40° C wash consumes 3 times less than a 90°C cycle.
- Choose a front-loading washing machine
